How to Stay Hydrated

“Drink your water!” It’s one of those things we hear all the time especially when we are trying to be more health conscious. And yes, it’s true, if you drink more water odds are you’ll start to notice some changes (besides having to pee 10x more)

There’s loads of benefits to drinking the recommended amount of water daily - about 64 to 100 oz. Things like more energy, less fatigue, clearer skin, less bloating to name a few.

Then there’s the science side of it. You body is roughly 70% of water - basically a cucumber - your cells are mostly water, you need water to digest food properly, etc. So when you’re dehydrated your body doesn’t have the amount of water it needs to function optimally.

Well that’s all nice and good but for most people drinking 64-100+ oz of water is pretty hard, so that’s why I’ve come up with this list of ways - tips & tricks if you will - to help you out!

Ways to make drinking water easier!

  • use a straw

  • add flavor - fruit, tea, electrolytes powder etc.

  • carry a reusable water bottle - bonus points if it’s cute!

  • set reminders on your phone

  • make it a game - set goals for every hour

  • Do a 30 day challenge - see my instagram for June’s Hydration & movement challenge!
